Eagles Soar Over ASD

All three of the Burns Bunch girls play on the AAG (American Academy for Girls) JV Volleyball team (yes, even Betsy in 6th Grade made the team!). The season started two weeks ago against last year's champion, Dubai American Academy (DAA). DAA won easily but the AAG Eagles (American Academy for Girls) played well. They were to be commended for their sportsmanship, hustle, and teamwork. Considering this is only AAG's second year and is about one-sixth the size of DAA, they did REAL well.

Last Monday, we hosted the 2nd place team from last year - The American School of Dubai. ASD is the oldest and most established American school in Dubai. After a very competitive, very spirited game, the AAG Eagles prevailed: 25-22; 18-25; 25-23. Needless to say, all the girls on our team were bubbling over with confidence and Eagle Pride! It was just what the team needed to head into the rest of the season with optimism.
